  Change Time and change are topics that on the face of it look so different but if we look closely we will see that the only way we can measure change is through time. Time gives a special identity to a certain event. I was on a call with my friend last week and he told me that actually there is no time and it is just something we use to measure the change in the state of things. I totally agree with him. In Hindu scriptures, It is said that this material world is divided into different periods and it keeps on repeating itself. We are living in the age of Kali-yuga, the last yuga of the four yugas - Sati-yuga ( 1,728,000 human years ), Treta-yuga ( 1,296,000 human years ), Dwapar-yuga ( 8,64,000 human years ), and Kali-yuga ( 4,32,000 human years ). All the four yugas combined form a Maha Yuga ( 4,320,000 ). It is further stated that there are 71 Maha Yugas that form a Manavantra (Lifespan of a Manu, who begins humankind). There are a total of 14 Manavantra and we are in the 7th Manav
