Voice of Tears (Poetrify; Episode 1)

Cannot Forget.

I know your face
I know you were there
I still can feel your body on me
I cannot forget what you did to me

Tears are still falling from my eyes
No one can feel the pain, that I'm in
Now, I'm scared to go out of my home
Because I cannot forget what you did to me

I don't know my,
what's the state of my mind
So,

How will I breathe, when you're still free?
How can I heal, when you're eyes are on me
You're my nightmare, who stole my dream
I'm still breathing, but I'm dead inside
You cut my wings, now how will I fly

I cannot forget what you did to me.

> How I wrote this poem:

This poem is about a girl who was assaulted sexually. I didn't show the evil side of the assaulter but, I more focused on the feelings of a traumatized girl. I tried to write this poem in a manner that the reader will hear the trembling voice of the girl.

Every time an incident like this takes place this society made the victim feel that she/he has lost something but it's the assaulter who lost his dignity.

"Since then I've always thought that under rape in the dictionary it should tell the truth. It is not just forcible intercourse; rape means to inhabit and destroy everything.”
                                                                                            ― Alice Se bold, Lucky

This news article inspired me to write this poem.

"I will never understand why it is more shameful to be raped than to be a rapist
